As the lead camera operator on site for Optus Sport’s coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup it was such a privilege to bring this pivotal tournament which effects are still being seen in women’s sport today. I was responsible for live crosses with hosts, players and coaches, capturing training footage and match footage throughout the tournament. This career highlight culminated in our broadcast receiving the Best Coverage of a Sporting Event gong at the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Media Awards.

I have been responsible for thousands of live cross content into news and sports programs across my tenutre with Fox Sports News, Optus Sport and other freelance projects. Familiar in workflows and requirements across several systems including LiveU, Dejero, TVU, Teradeck and Blackmagic ATEM I am nimble and adaptable in this fast-paced environment.

Based in Sydney at the Optus Sports studios for the duration of the Euro 2020 tournament that was moved to 2021 due to COVID we were able to produce amazing programming despite facing new challenges. I was responsible for live crosses with hosts and guests across fan venues as well as operating live studio cameras.
